Message: Honest and straight-forward service. This is the kind of shop where they will tell you what needs to be fixed and what doesn’t. They will also tell you when it’s time to walk away.. I took my car to another shop in the area when my car didn’t pass e-check. After $600, the car still wouldn’t pass. This shop gave me straight-forward advice and the e-check fix was just a gas cap.

Message: The first thing to know about Howard (Mike's son, who operates the shop now) is that he's an honest mechanic. You won't go in for a battery and come out with new brakes and shocks. Many years ago my Pontiac (remember those?) was spewing white smoke. Another shop told me I needed a new engine. Someone recommended Mike's service for another opinion. Howard knew immediately I had a bad oil pressure sending unit (as I recall that was the part and it was about a $60 repair. ) He had me on my way in a day and I've been going back ever since. Howard will tell you what's wrong and give you a fair price to fix you car.
