Message: Not cheap, $510 for a couple mile tow, and new starter, but they had me back on the road in two hours, which was much needed because I was passing through on the way for major surgery. I feel $300 is a fair price for the work they did, a new starter is $70, but the extra $200 for expediting the work was well worth it, I could have been stranded. I expected to pay as much as I did anyway, even though I'd hoped for less, I feel it's probably what an out-of-towner in a jam would pay pretty much anywhere.
